Where are you from?
What do you do at H&P?
Oversee the design department and direct the creative teams. Responsible for all phases of design and development. Involved with student mentoring and development within the exhibit industry at FIT and Bemidji State University
I couldn’t live without my…
Fine art work. Sculpting and painting forces me to use my hand and eye skills differently than being on the computer. Consistently looking at the world around you from different lenses helps me continue to grow as a designer.
Favorite H&P Memory
Seeing us as company come together in anything we do from running events to volunteering for any number of causes- inspires me and reminds me of who we are as individuals and as a team working together.
Favorite H&P Client Moment
Seeing one of our clients come to a Ruckus Run event and cheer us all on being vested in being part of our H&P family.
Favorite/Most Memorable Project Worked On
I designed a Titanic exhibit years ago. It was one of the most stressful projects and one of the most rewarding at the same time. I enjoy history and by helping people understand the story of the Titanic in an engaging way for visitors was rewarding.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a fine artist.
My Best Stress Buster
Building stuff……..stone walls, remodeling my antique home. I love the smell of sawdust and leaving something better than you found it.
When I’m not at work, you can find me...
Spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors.
Something You’ve Learned Working for H&P
Team work is essential to all phases of success in achieving goals.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would fly of course. I love birds of prey and would love to soar and view through their vision seeing things from afar yet capturing exacting details.
