Associate Project Manager

Posted by Hill & Partners on Nov 29, 2016 1:29:39 PM

The Associate Project Manager (APM) here at H&P is an entry-level opportunity in Account Management at Hill & Partners. This position is designed to provide an opportunity for candidates with varied skills to have exposure to all aspects of client and account management at H&P under the supervision of an Account Manager. This allows us as a company to evaluate skill sets, and focus on training new candidates in the H&P way. Once the basics are accomplished, and we believe the APM is on their way with the right tools, they will become Project Managers.

The APM’s primary responsibilities are directly related to the implementation of the day-to-day trade show and event program for each client in a support role to the Account Managers who supervise them.

The APM reports to an Account Executive or a more senior manager. The APM is closely involved with senior members of an account support team, and may manage specific projects. An APM typically works toward managing projects and smaller accounts, or they may support a piece of a program within a larger clients overall plan, ie a portable program.

Candidates will have 1-2 years of business experience, preferably in a client service capacity. This position is expected to take a year to a year and a half to master, and is the first step toward the Project Management position here at H&P.
